It is with a heavy heart that on Monday August 26, 2024 the Jaws Parent lead board made the difficult decision to disband Jaws swimming in Jamestown after 60 plus years. The board did not come to this decision lightly but after many years of operating close to or in the red financially and difficulty finding coaches the difficult decision had to be made. The board would like to thank all past and present swimmers, parents, board members and coaches from these past 60 plus years for their dedication and hard work. Jaws will be selling their equipment that they purchased over the last few years and donating the proceeds and remaining funds in their checking account to the USA Swimming foundation. The USA Swimming foundation works to strengthen our sport by Saving Lives, Building Champions, and Impacting Communities.
